Exam prep that knows what you don't know. Starting at $19.99 a month.

Becker starts at $2,499. UWorld charges $250 for 90 days of practice questions — with no AI tutor, no readiness score, and no study plan built from your own materials. CramRocket does all of that, for less than the cost of one Becker section retake.

The CPA retake fee alone is $262. If CramRocket helps you pass one section you would have failed — it pays for itself before month two.

Focused vs. Unlimited — the honest answer

One thing: how much you can do each month.

Unlimited removes the caps on mock exams, uploads, courses, and tutor sessions. Everything else — the AI tutor, the readiness score, the weak-spot dashboard, the adaptive study plan, and study groups — is identical on both plans.

If you're in crunch mode and studying every day, Unlimited is worth it. If you're in early prep and pacing yourself through material, Focused is plenty. You can switch anytime.

The same engine. For every exam.

Whether you're studying for the CPA or AWS Solutions Architect, CramRocket works the same way — and it works differently from any question bank or lecture course you've used before.

It learns from your materials, not a generic question bank.

Upload your notes, your professor's slides, your textbook excerpts — whatever you're actually studying from. CramRocket builds its understanding of your course from your source material, then teaches and tests you on it. The questions it generates aren't pulled from a static database. They're built from what you uploaded.

It diagnoses the specific reason you're getting things wrong.

Most prep tools tell you what you got wrong. CramRocket tells you why — and tracks the pattern of thinking behind the mistake, not just the topic. Your weak-spot dashboard shows you exactly where to spend the next hour. Not your best guess. Not a color-coded pie chart with 40 categories. The actual gap, diagnosed from your actual performance.

It tests whether you understand it, not just whether you can recognize the answer.

Multiple choice lets you eliminate and guess your way through concepts you don't actually understand. CramRocket's explain-back testing asks you to explain the concept back in your own words — the same way a tutor would. If you can explain it clearly, you know it. If you can't, neither of you are pretending that you do.

It knows how your specific exam asks questions.

For exams with a distinct question format — CPA task-based simulations, NCLEX Next Generation item types, USMLE clinical vignettes — CramRocket generates practice in that format. Not just the content. The structure. Because knowing the answer isn't the same as being ready for how the exam asks for it.

It lets your study group see exactly where everyone stands.

Create a group of up to 7 people. Every member's readiness score and weak spots are visible to the whole group — so you can see who needs help with what, hold each other accountable, and stop pretending everyone is equally ready. Group chat is built in. Each person studies in their own account; the group layer shows you the honest picture of where your group actually is. No other prep tool does this.

Common questions.

Why does my exam cost more or less than someone else's?

The price bands reflect what the exam market looks like — not a different product.

CPA candidates are choosing between CramRocket and Becker at $2,499 to $6,349. NCLEX candidates are choosing between CramRocket and Kaplan at $425+. GRE and CompTIA candidates have cheaper alternatives. So the pricing is calibrated to what a fair price looks like in each exam's competitive landscape.

The AI tutor, the readiness score, the explain-back testing, the adaptive study plan — exactly the same across every exam. The price band is about the market your exam lives in. Not a different version of the product.

What's the actual difference between Focused and Unlimited?

Just the caps.

On Focused, you get 8 mock exams, 4 uploads, 1 active course, and 60 tutor sessions per month. On Unlimited, those caps disappear completely. The tutor itself, the readiness engine, the explain-back testing — identical on both plans.

If you're 6+ weeks from your exam and studying seriously every day, get Unlimited. If you're in early prep and working through material gradually, Focused is more than enough. You can switch at any time from your account settings.

How does the 7-day trial work?

You enter your card at signup. You get full access to your plan for 7 days — all features, no restrictions. If you cancel before day 7, you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, your subscription starts automatically on day 8.

We'll send you an email reminder before that happens.

I've failed before. Will this actually help?

That depends on why you failed.

Most repeat failures happen because candidates study the wrong things — they over-prepare areas they already understand and under-prepare the specific concepts they keep getting wrong. The weak-spot dashboard is designed for exactly this situation. It doesn't let you feel prepared. It shows you where you actually are.

If you failed because of test anxiety or timing, that's a different problem — and we're not the right tool to solve it. But if you failed because you didn't know what you didn't know, that's exactly what CramRocket is built to fix.

Is my exam supported?

The exams listed in the selector above are the most common ones we see. But CramRocket supports any exam you can upload study materials for.

If your exam isn't listed, select "Graduate & Tech Exams" at signup and choose your exam from the dropdown — you'll get Band C pricing ($19.99–$34.99/mo). The tutor and readiness engine work regardless of what you're studying.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade from Focused to Unlimited, or switch between monthly and annual billing, from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Is my material safe? Who can see what I upload?

Only you — unless you choose to join a study group. Your uploaded study materials and session history are used solely to personalize your experience and are never shared with other users. In a study group, only your readiness score and weak-spot topics are visible to group members — not your uploaded files, not your session notes. We don't share your data with third parties or use your uploads to train public models.

How do study groups work? Does everyone need their own account?

Yes — each person in a group needs their own CramRocket account and their own active plan. Study groups aren't a shared license.

Once everyone's in, the group dashboard shows each member's readiness score and weak spots side by side — so you can see at a glance who's ahead, who needs help with which topics, and where the group as a whole is vulnerable. Group chat is built in. You each study independently in your own account; the group layer gives you shared visibility and a reason to stay accountable. Groups support up to 7 members.

Find out what you don't know.

Most candidates study the wrong things. CramRocket shows you exactly what to fix — and teaches you to fix it — before exam day.
